Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and MopIf you're looking to tidy up mess fast and efficiently, a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The
best automatic vacuum robot vacs and mops in my tests come with top-quality mapping and navigation as well as the ability to remove Cheerios wires, tangled wires and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.
You can also schedule cleaning tasks with an app and monitor their progress.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combination. It is equipped with the latest features. This top-of-the-line model is swift and agile, picking up debris like pet hair and human hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It features a sleek and elegant app interface that includes a miniature map of your home and buttons on the screen for manual control.
Another noteworthy feature is the S8's ability to change its cleaning mode according to the amount of dirt it encounters thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will pause and clean its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas to be mopped with a damp pad.
It's got a host of other innovative features also, including an alternative dock that connects to your plumbing to clean and wash the mop without requiring you to manually refill it. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to set rooms cleaning options and the ability to control granular settings using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those who want a hands free robot vacuum that also has mopping capabilities. It's one of a variety of combo
robot vacuum with mop vacuums with mops, however it's priced at a cheaper price than most of the competition.
Like most robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to begin, which includes setting up an account with the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once you've completed this, the robot will start vacuuming and mops effortlessly.
It is important to note that the mapping process takes some time and it could take a few tries before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate image of your space. Additionally, object detection can be difficult to determine; it was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles, but was stuck on a loose tassel rug and had to turn it over to get free. But these are minor flaws, and the Yeedi Cube is still a ideal choice for those who need an all-in-one cleaning companion.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features a rotating motion like hand scrubbing which results in floors that are truly cleaned, not just being swept. Its detachable stick-vacuum is a game changer that allows you to reach spots even robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.
This model is essentially the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa and some additional intelligent features. The RGBD sensor upgrade is able to learn your home's surroundings and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. And the smart app lets you adjust the settings of your choice that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the
robot vacuum best vacuum and mop return to their charging station at the end of each job to clean their pads, empty the dust bins, and place debris in the self-sealing bag. This keeps the system tidy and prevents allergens recirculating. The battery life is long enough to cover large areas without requiring a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the premium robot vacuum and mop models that are available, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It has a powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets, and a great obstacle-avoiding. It also features an unique mopping method which uses a rolling device that is continuously spraying with water to collect dirt and deposit it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation technology performed well in navigating close to walls without crashing, and avoiding steps. However, it did struggle with finely engrained debris and wasn't always able to clear raised room thresholds. Its operating noise level is also quite high, so it may be less of a "set-and-forget" model than some.
As with most robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that lets you refill its clean water, empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to the regular schedule. Eufy's app lets you control all its functions. It gives clear information and plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top mowers and vacuums available on the market. It provides impressive results in mopping and vacuuming. The LIDAR mapping sensors can detect furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with reasonable accuracy. The app lets users fine-tune the coverage of the map, create no-go zones, and even alter the cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which could be a major issue with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too it comes with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is equipped with intelligent carpet detectors, which raise the pads when they're near soft surfaces to avoid contamination.
The docking station is an automated maintenance center that automatically washes and dries the mops, and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station also has integrated dust processing that compacts dust for seven weeks of uninterrupted operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins every time they have to be empty.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8, this robot is a slick job of keeping my home office clean and can also take on the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses a laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D-map of your home so that it knows what to stay clear of. And, unlike many vacuums that can mop it detects objects and obstructions that is able to avoid things like bowls and dog toys (but not poop!).
It also has some outstanding highlights, such as an automatic emptying dust bin and a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas other mops miss. You can also set cleaning schedules within the app and adjust the settings for each room in your home.
Like the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping that can differentiate between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. It can also avoid cleaning rooms that aren't clean if you want to reduce time. If you have a variety of flooring options in your home and don't want to spend additional money for a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping capabilities, this is an excellent option.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a versatile robot
vacuum mop cleaner robot and mop that is able to handle regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to messy messes that are wet, this robot is a good choice. It has a wide range of features including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own as well as the water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings in the app. It's extremely quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. However, it isn't able to pick up knotted rug tassels and its battery drains more quickly than other models in our tests.
With a price tag of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and a handy automation into a slick design. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests of vacuuming however, it performed quite well. It has a range of cleaning modes, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet mode for light debris to the more powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automatically remove and replace its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great mop and robot vacuum for those who live in tiny areas. It's extremely fast and quiet and can maneuver tight spaces efficiently. It also does a good job of removing pet hair out of carpeting.
It's smaller than most of its competition however it doesn't compromise features. It has a decent amount of suction power, and it is able to take photos of any object it finds (i.e. chew toys or socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they don't get removed during subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure, and aren't tied to your account.
It's great at vacuuming, but it's not so well at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that are clipped onto the bottom of the bot, and it basically drags them around your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
